THE IOM MISSION IN UKRAINE DIVERSITY INITIATIVE
The International Organization for Migration invites Ukrainian and international non-governmental organizations registered in Ukraine to submit proposals for projects aimed at preventing xenophobia and racism and promoting tolerant attitudes towards other nations and cultures, with specific focus on visible minorities
The International Organization for Migration is accepting proposals for innovative projects that reach out to and support ethnic groups of visible minorities in Ukraine.
The IOM expects to fund quality and result-orientated projects from NGOs. The IOM will support projects with budgets within the limit of 32,000 UAH. The duration of programmes may vary depending on the proposals, but the project should last no longer than 9 months. The successful applicants of this call for proposals will be notified in May 2010.
Please Note: Grants can be given to NGOs, non-profit organizations or charitable foundations registered in accordance with Ukrainian law. NGOs and their members cannot represent or be affiliated with any political party, or appointed or elected officials. All project activities are to take place in Ukraine.
How To Apply
Project proposals marked “SUPPORT DIVERSITY” must be sent to IOM in electronic version in English ONLY to the following email address: kiev.diversity@iom.int
Successful applicants will be notified by e-mail of their application’s receipt and registration no later than April 30, 2010. Please check with the IOM if you do not receive confirmation after this date.
Please note that late or incomplete applications will not be considered by IOM.
