06 квітня 2010 IOM ANNOUNCES A PUBLIC TENDER FOR LAPTOPS AND ACCESSORIES FOR THE SBGS OF UKRAINE

The International Organization for Migration, Mission to Ukraine, (IOM) announces a public tender, effective on April 6, 2010, for laptops and accessories for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The activity is a part of the project titled “Strengthening the State Border Guard Service’s Integrated Approach to Implementing EU-compliant Training Standards – Phase 1 (ITP)”, financed by the U.S. Department of State and implemented by the IOM.

Equipment prices in the bids should be indicated in Ukrainian Hryvnyas.
 
The bid must be valid for no less than 30 calendar days from the date of the tender submission deadline; this should be clearly stated in the bid.
 
The equipment delivery period should not exceed 30 calendar days from the date of signing the supply agreement. Delivery is to be made to the following address: Kyiv, 54a, Narodna St. Central Communication Unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
 
It should be noted that equipment prices are indicated in the bid without VAT. The winner will receive a VAT exemption certificate for the price of the agreement in accordance with Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the United States of America Regarding Humanitarian and Economic Cooperation, of May 7, 1992, and using the VAT exemption procedure of the Order as of 12.29.1999, No. 41/654 signed by NAUDEI and the State Tax Administration of Ukraine, VAT exemption of organizations implementing international technical assistance programs and projects in Ukraine.
 
One more key requirement is the readiness of the company to fully accept the IOM model supply agreement (posted on the web-site in MC Word format) with Annex to the Agreement.
The contractor should provide a warranty for the equipment for not less than one year (longer warranty period is additional advantage). The contractor should be able to provide warranty service in the following cities: Lviv, Mukacheve, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Odesa and Simferopol. Warranty period and ability to provide warranty service in the abovementioned cities should be stipulated in the bid.
 
 
The IOM will not consider bids that do not comply with the abovementioned requirements.
 
Companies wishing to participate in the tender should submit their bids by 09:30 on April 27, 2010. The bid should include copies of companies’ statutory documents, EDRPOU certificate (on the inclusion of the company to the unified Ukrainian state register of enterprises and organizations), VAT payer certificate, copies of licenses for the equipment (ISO and UkrSEPRO) and list or references from the most prominent clients.
