IOM ANNOUNCES A PUBLIC TENDER FOR PROCUREMENT OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SBGS OF UKRAINE
International organization for migration, Mission to Ukraine, (IOM) on 7th July 2010 announces a public tender for procurement of computer equipment for the benefit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The activity is a part of the project titled “Strengthening the State Border Guard Service’s Integrated Approach to Implementing EU-compliant Training Standards – Phase 1 (ITP)”, financed by US Department of State and implemented by IOM.

Tender participants should propose equipment with specifications equal to the above mentioned.
The bid must be valid for no less than 30 calendar days from the date of the tender submission deadline; it should be clearly stated in the bid.
Equipment delivery period should be no more than 30 calendar days from the date of signing the supply agreement. Delivery is to be made to the following address: Kyiv, 54a, Narodna st. Central Communication Unit of State border guard service of Ukraine
Equipment prices in the bids should be stated in Ukrainian Hryvnias.
It needs to be noted that equipment prices are stated in the bid without VAT. The winner will receive VAT exemption certificate for the price of the agreement in accordance with Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the United States of America Regarding Humanitarian and Economic Cooperation, of May 7,1992 and using the VAT exemption procedure of the Order as of 12.29.1999, No. 41/654 signed by NAUDEI and the State Tax Administration of Ukraine, VAT exemption of organizations implementing international technical assistance programs and projects in Ukraine.
One more key requirement is readiness of the company to fully accept the form of IOM model supply agreement (posted on the web-site in MC Word format).
Participants should provide warranty for the equipment for a period of no less than three years (warranty periods should be stated in the bids). Participant should be able to provide warranty service in the following cities: Lviv, Mukacheve, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomir, Kharkiv, Odesa and Simferopol.
The bids, which are not compliant to the abovementioned, will not be considered by IOM.
Companies wishing to participate in the tender should submit their bids by 18:00 on 21 July 2010. The bid should include copies of companies’ statutory documents, EDRPOU certificate (on including the company to the unified Ukrainian state register of enterprises and organizations), VAT payer certificate, copies of licenses for the equipment (ISO and UkrSEPRO) and list or references from the most prominent clients.
